Milan, Italy – The Bulleteers, an alternative pop/rock band, is excited to announce the release of their debut EP “Soulless.” The band, which was originally formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2020, has undergone a musical evolution that has taken them from stoner-influenced rock to melodic pop.
Bulleteers – “Soulless”
The formation of the band started when Chris (vocals, guitars, bass) and Fredrik (drums) got together for a jam session after a long break from playing music together. The two friends developed a riff-based rock style that can be heard on their early singles “Fine (Borderline?),” “Attention Whore Galore,” and “Pretend”.
However, as Chris took on the role of lead singer, the focus shifted from heavy riffs to songwriting, leading to a softer and more melodic sound. Chris explains, “I started playing guitar at a young age and always saw myself as a guitar player, but I never thought of becoming a singer until 2020 when we couldn’t find the right singer for the band.”
Working with Twilight Studio in Milan and Future Legends in Stockholm, the Bulleteers have honed their sound and are excited to share their debut EP “Soulless. which showcases the band’s musical evolution from riff-based rock to melodic pop.
This year, Chris plans to reform the band in Milan and perform live shows, as well as continue to write and record new music. He is already working on the next EP that ranges from alternative rock to funky blues and says, “I have total freedom to let the sound evolve without any restraints. My main influence right now is John Frusciante, so it will be interesting to see how that influences the songs I am writing now.”
The Bulleteers’ debut EP “Soulless” is released on February 17th, 2023, and available on all major streaming platforms. Get ready to experience a new sound in alternative pop/rock! Check out the band’s IG:
